Lightness was developed in the period after the pandemic, from a personal need to talk about freedom, hope and lightness, in a context of uncertainty, fear and obscurity.

This project also materializes the wish to use photography as a way to communicate imaginary realities and to contribute to a certain evasion and a more positive living of reality, using a minimalistic, poetic and symbolic language through universal and intemporal representations.

The images presented pretend this way, to be an invitation to (re)discover beauty and serenity in daily life, in simplicity and in contemplation, aiming to create a sensation of liberation and escape.

Through this project I was able to discover my own way to look and represent reality, and I’m continuing to work on it, accompanying my incessant search for poetic and symbolic imagistic universes.
